Wormhole space is it's own rats nest which isn't connected to what called k-space (also called known space) by anything other than worm holes. There's other groups too, wormholers are one such group who tend to just not generally care about what everyone else thinks because they literally live in wormhole space. They teach you how to PvP basically right off the bat, give you a list of skills to train to fly fleet doctrine ships, how to pilot a ship effectively so on and so forth. ![]() The most recent group I can think of off the top of my head is an alliance called Pandemic Horde, which is basically a new player playground. Now to sort of fix that problem there's entire groups dedicated to teaching new players how to do specific things. From the get go you'll see the in-game "tutorial" is utter garbage, everyone who plays the game agrees it's pretty bad and most the devs do to, but no one wants to fix it because of EVE's rep as a pretty hard game. EVE is a massive game, with a lot of things to do and with a lot of different people. It really depends on what you want to know. There's 4 areas of space, highsec which has space police, lowsec which doesn't, nullsec which is basically player owned/wildspace and wormhole space which is literally wild space. ![]() ![]() TL DR : EVE is a really massive game with lots of different things you can do, ranging from shooting other people, to building space ships, to eating space rocks.
